Even when you’re 100% sure you want to make a change in your life, it can still be scary.
It doesn’t matter what it is – changing jobs, ending a relationship, moving to a new city, starting a daily practice – there are always ups and downs laden with anxiety, fear, and self-doubt.
Maybe you lose motivation, become unfocused, or feel discouraged. Maybe you isolate yourself, and completely abandon your efforts.
This is all pretty normal behavior, and nothing to be ashamed of. But it can be avoided.
Luckily, there is a way that you can make any transition a much less painful and far less traumatic, experience.
We all have times when we feel completely out of control in our lives. I’ve totally been there.
The hardest part is knowing that something needs to change, but not having any clue what to do about it! This can lead to feelings of helplessness, sadness, anxiety, anger, and frustration.

It’s a vicious cycle, isn’t it?
Well, the good news is that there are actually a few small changes that you can make TODAY to start taking back control of your life.
And the awesome part about these changes is that they are all absolutely FREE and take less than a few minutes a day!
So I decided to put together this podcast for you, and tell you all about how to make simple, lasting changes.
Every week, I get asked some variation of the following question:
“I know I shouldn’t have, but I looked through my girlfriend’s cell phone. She’s talking to her ex. How do I confront her about it without looking like the bad guy?”
Maybe you don’t check her phone, but you look through her emails instead. Maybe you feel sick to your stomach every time she goes out and you don’t know where she is. Maybe you’ve even gone as far as following her to work and spying on her.
The bottom line is that you don’t trust her. But more importantly, you don’t trust YOU!
An endless amount of research has been conducted on the effect music has on mood. And while there’s still some debate as to exactly what goes on when tears start streaming down our faces at the first note of Enya’s “Only Time,” most researchers agree on a few things.
